Terms of Service

By accessing or using Breya Academy’s websites, dashboard, or related services (“Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

The Services

Breya provides curriculum delivery tools, coding environments, and classroom management features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.

Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and safeguard your credentials. Teachers are responsible for inviting students appropriately and for complying with school policies and parental consent requirements where they apply.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful, harassing, or harmful activity.
• No attempt to disrupt, scrape, or probe the Services beyond normal use.
• No uploading malware or infringing others’ intellectual property.

Content & intellectual property

Breya retains rights in the platform, branding, and curriculum materials we provide. Schools and users retain rights in content they create (for example, student submissions), subject to the licences needed for us to host and display that content to run the Services.

Fees

Paid plans are billed according to the checkout flow or order form you accept. Taxes may apply. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly offered in writing.

Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breya’s aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, excluding conflict of law rules, unless a separate agreement with your institution specifies otherwise.
